| | problems installing vista i have a abit AI7 3gb crucial xms ram 40gb hard drive i install it from the dvd and it gets to the funky background, then freezes and restarts in a loop. I tried installing it as an upgrade to winxp and as a new install and it will go through the full install and at the end when its about to get to the log in screen it says that it didn't install correctly and reverts back to xp. any ideas |

Try burning another at the lowest speed you can and burn it on the DVD drive you intend to install it from to avoid minor inconsistancies between one DVD Drive and another. Jonah |

| | Re: problems installing vista It's the web-based newsreader you are using. Try using the newsreader in Vista Mail. The Vista newsgroups are already set up for you.
