Vista - I tunes & Vista Keyboard Problem

Hi all,
I hope someone can help me. I bought a new computer with Vista installed. A
few weeks later I bought an I pod & downloaded I tunes. Had no problems
ripping my Cd's to I tunes until the next day. My keyboard locked up. When i
tapped a key instaed of the usual millisecond response I got nothing. When I
held a key down for 3 or more seconds I heard a beep & then the character
appeared on the screen. I called my support hotline (Dell) but they could not
find an answer and the computer would not restore to a save point. So I had
to reinstall Vista. I have not seen this problem on any of the forums. Now I
am afraid to install Itunes. I have downloaded the patch but am still
worried. Any thought or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,Loretta
