Vista - Vista installed Programs and Features Missing

I had a trojandownloader hit me and it messed up my Programs and Features, i
couldnt uninstall anything, most of the stuff installed when i uploaded Vista
for the first time are gone from the Programs and Features. To get all the
programs i added to my system i had to reinstall all of them, but now how do
i get all my Vista install programs and Features back on there.

If it's done that much damage to the O/S can you trust things anymore from
that point forward?

Windows Defender removed it from my system, Everything runs just fine i dont
have a problen with anything running at all, just that in the programs and
features stuff is missing.
