| | Display of Windows Explorer Is there a setting so that when I open Windows Explorer it will open at a certain point (e.g. Drive C) ? I know I had XP do that but have long forgot how it was done and cannot find a place in VISTA to do it. |

I am sure there are ways to set it up via the shortcut properties to jump to C:\ etc, or to default to some setting via registry - just haven't seen that info anywhere yet... | | Re: Display of Windows Explorer Right-click on a Windows Explorer shortcut and choose Properties. In the "Target" box enter (without the quotes) "%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, c:\" That will make it open to the root of drive C. You can add a folder name to the end of "c:\" if you want to get more specific.
