| | Error 1053 problem with starting a service I am trying to start a service (Service ProtexisLicensing) in Vista but am constantly getting this error message. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion I'm running Vista on a PC ANY advice appreciated, Thanks |

| | Re: Error 1053 problem with starting a service Am now getting this message as well nTitles PSIService stopped working and was closed I am trying to install upgrade Painter X on my PC and PSIService is a 3rd party piece of software that installs with it to monitor licensing.
