| | Vista BSOD's on audio that isn't 44100 Hz. Anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it? I've got three different sound cards I've tried this on, and it happens regardless of which one I use (so I have to assume it's a windows problem and not a sound card problem). Whenever I play any sound that's not 44100 Hz (for example my voicemails get streamed to my pc at 11025 Hz, or when a website has background audio, or even watching a DVD at 48000), Vista gives me a BSOD and reboots the system. The BSOD is gone so fast that I can't possibly read anything on there, literally "blink and you'll miss it." Anybody have any ideas? |

| | RE: Vista BSOD's on audio that isn't 44100 Hz. Though off hand I do not have a solution for you, I can start you off in the right direction with having a way to capture the bluescreen message so that we can better assist you. when starting your computer, if you hit F8 to bring up the Advanced Boot Options Menu, (Sometimes referred to as the safe-mode menu). You can Select an option to disable automatic restart on system failure. The next time the bluescreen occurs, the system will not restart right away and you will be left with the ability to record the details. -- ------------ Trevor Porubanec Windows Vista Support "DjXdJ" wrote: > Anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it?
