Sharing Media Center contents between PCs

I have a couple of Vista PCs at home and I would like to share Media Center
content (particularly recorded TV programs). Can this be done?

Cheers.

Re: Sharing Media Center contents between PCs

Hello,

You should just be able to use File and Printer Sharing in Windows Vista.
See http://www.microsoft.com/technet/net.../vista_fp.mspx. It's
not much different than with Windows 2000 or XP.

Re: Sharing Media Center contents between PCs

Martin I've tried both these methodsam running Vista Home PRemium. Everytime
I attempt to share recorded TV, I get the message, 'File cannot be shred.
Even when I drag the shows to the Shared videos of the public folders, I
cannot see the recorded TV shows.

Only interested because my desktop actually has the TV tuner but the laptop
does not and dont want to be chained to my desk. Great way to stay
entertained in the kitchen sinceI dont have high def TV in there.
