| | Problem with remote desktop - IP address being stored in user name Hi, I am helping a vista user connect to our terminal server using remote desktop. The user connects to the IP address our our server (ie. 73.17.31.60). The user name for logging onto our system is first initial and then last name (jsmith). What the remote desktop is doing is storing the IP address as part of the user name. It connects properly to our server but the user name it first tries is 73.17.31.60/jsmith. I get an error stating that he user name is not correct. I can go in an edit the user name and remove the ip address and then it works but how do I keep the remote desktop from adding the IP address in with the user name? The XP remote desktop did not do this. Thanks, Chuck -- Chuck W |
