Same as in other versions of Windows: click on the column heading you want to sort by. | | Re: File and Folder Sorting...Help! To sort, just click on the column headers, like in XP. If you don't see the columns that you want, say Name, Size, Date, etc. maybe the folder template needs to be changed. There are templates for documents, picture & videos, music, etc. Right-click on a blank area of the windows below Name, and select "Customize this folder", and select which template you want. You can also right-click on the Name heading, and select whichever columns you wish to see. Then you can sort by clicking on whichever header you want. | | Re: File and Folder Sorting...Help! For me a big improvement in VISTA is that you can sort by a column heading without having to set the display to Details. For example, you can sort by Date Modified while in the List mode. |
