Vista Media Center won't display with multiple displays enabled.

Hi. In a nut shell, this is my problem:

When I start Windows Media Center, my computer monitor goes black and
displays the message "Out of range". When I press the Windows key on the
keyboard, the desktop reappears okay and MC is there on the taskbar, but if I
click it, it goes full screen (black) again. I have to do ALT+F4 to close it.
If I configure my system as a single display, MC will run fine on the
computer monitor or plasma TV, depending on which display I've enabled as the
single display.

Now for the configuration details:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium.
Motherboard: ASUS M2NPV-VM.
Graphics card: On-board GeForce 6150 with NVIDIA driver 7.15.11.5818 from
April 12, 2007.
Monitor: (primary display) NEC LCD1970GX connected via DVI-D.
TV: (extended desktop) Pioneer PDP-5070HD connected via RGB to the TV's PC
input.
Not sure if other details would be useful?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Vista Media Center won't display with multiple displays enable

I changed the connection of the TV to the computer from RGB PC to component
using the ASUS HDTV bracket. This now allows me to have dual display with
Media Center starting on the TV, HOWEVER, the picture (including the desktop
or any application) only fills about half the available screen.

In the NVIDIA Control Panel, I set the resolution of the HDTV to 1360 x 768
and the HD signal format to component 1080i. The TV shows that it is
receiving a 1080i signal. The TV's screen size set to 'FULL' only gives me a
desktop about half the size of the actual screen. Changing screen sizes helps
some (zoom, wide), but I still can't get the input signal to fill the whole
screen.
