Iwin Games

I just bought this new Compaq about two weeks ago with Vista Home. I can't
go into the Iwin rooms. I can go into the lobby but that is far as I get.
Just acts like it is going to go into the room but it never does. I have
tried numerous times to get Iwin to help but that was a joked. They kept
referring me to their help section which didn't help. On this computer, I
don't have the iwin application anywhere that I can find unless it is named
something else. I supposedly needed that to make the program compatiable. I
have tried turning off the firewall. Making Iwin a trusted site. Everything
you can think of. Also I am on AOL which I know can cause problems. HELP!!

Re: Iwin Games

Hi Cynthia,

Have you read through this FAQ on removing and reinstalling Java?
http://www.iwin.com/iwin/help/help.j...=technical&q=7

Also, they do not list Vista as a supported operating system, so you may
have to wait until they decide to support the programming changes.

Re: Iwin Games

Thanks Rick. I did try that. I guess I have to wait for them to catch up to
today's technology.

RE: Iwin Games

I just bought an HP with Vista. I also can't get my favorite iWin game to
load. ("Tangleword").
I haven't been able to get a response to my 2 emails to iWin's Tech support.

At least now I know its not just me.
