Vista Tutorial - Error Code 643

hi guys, ive read a few of the comments already here, and i have the same
problem..when trying to install an update i get error code 643, i think its a
MS problem, rather than our PC's....to let you know i am on vista home
premium..please help if you can, thanks..

MS seems to have turned away from this problem. I have seen several
workarounds but they only work for some people. Vista comes with .NET 2.0 and
3.0 embedded in the OS. Net 1.1 could be tacked on for some older software.
This is all over the net and it will be interesting to see how much longer MS
can ignore the whole thing.

Windows Update Failed – Detailed Error Code “643�
0x643 = 1603 = ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE. This error can be caused by one of
the issues listed in the Error Dialogs section below. The two most likely
causes are the netfx.msi resolve source issue or the info 9002 issue.
