| Guest | Windows Security Center/ Windows Update Errors a'Plenty After running Windows Update and installing about 8 updates, one of them failed. After following the suggestions of the Help and Support Center (it was error code 800070002 which required me to delete the Downloads folder under Software Distributions, etc)), I still cannot get it to install. A separate issue that just started following a blue screen (one that went so fast after hitting 'shutdown' that I didn't have time to write it down) is that my anti-virus (NOD 32) and Windows defender are both not found and off respectively. When I try to enable Defender, it searches for definitions (and of course doesn't find any) and remains off. I cannot get NOD 32 to be found even though it's running. What happened? Vista was running flawlessly since Februrary before this. |

| Guest | RE: Windows Security Center/ Windows Update Errors a'Plenty Hello Mike, You receive a "0x80070002" or "0x80070003" error code after you download an update from Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or from Windows Server Update Services http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910336/en-us Good luck -- "Mike" wrote: > After running Windows Update and installing about 8 updates, one of them > failed.
