| | Tranferring settings Hi How do i transfer my email settings from an XP pro machine. the two systems have different file transfer systems I downloaded a beta version of an "easy transfer companion" but it told me A) doesn't support the operating system B) only works in US english C) had encountered a serious error. I can't believe that ms never imagined people would want to move files from one to the other. There is little help on this. the ms web pages are absurdly opaque. Is there a step by step guide to this. thanks jc |

| | Re: Tranferring settings That's cool; you got me at a bad time. I live on the other side of the world to you, Australia, and people give advice on here for free. There is no monetary gain to me or anybody else on here. We try and give advice, and also pick up tips from other threads as Vista is still realativity new re problems "Jonathan Crawford" wrote: > thank you > I am sorry to have been a burden to you > > > > > > > > > > "Mick Murphy" <MickMurphy@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:FDEE7EF7-BB66-456F-B6EF-3ED71CB97C30@microsoft.com... > > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928634/en-us > > > > The above link is ALL the info you want. > > > > Your question gets posted here many times a day, day after day.
