Vista Tutorial - Windows Update Error

I have installed Windows Vista Basic from a RTM DVD but once install it
shows Windows Vista (TM) RC1 Evaluation copy. Build 5728 in the bottom right
hand corner of the screen and when I run Windows Update it gives me an error
message code 8024400A

That is not the final version of Vista and you may never get it stabilized
and
your use probably will expire. BTW there was an RC2 and even it has
some issues.

This Vista DVD on other systems installs as Version 6.0 (Build 6000) so it
is the final release

Are these two different system? If not how did you manage to
get a RC1 and a final mixed up?

I'll burn again from the RTM ISO I may have mixed them up with another ISO
from the beta testing
