vista password stopped working

My daughter has just come back from 3 weeks on holiday. She tried to log on
to her laptop, but it is not recognised.

She logged on without any problem before she left on her trip.
She had no reason ( or ability? ) to change her password.
The caps lock is not an issue.
There is only one log in account.

I know I will have to re-install vista to get her up and running again, and
I don't think we created a password disk. (that won't happen again!)

Is there any other reason for this happening, or has she indeed managed to
change her log in details and not been aware of it?

Many Thanks,

John

Re: vista password stopped working

Hi,

Perhaps someone else with access changed it? There is no reason it would
change otherwise.

Lots of people do, and it's free and easily obtainable.
