| | Microsoft Corporation Name Grayed Out at Start UP Before I start my new problem, I would like to ask DELL-Bill B to read by previous problem "Re: XPS 710 Does not always wake up from sleep " I answered him thanking him for solving my problems. Now for a different problem: This morning when I turned on my computer, the screen that shows Microsoft Corporation came up with the Microsoft Corporation name very light that you could hardly see it. The green/yellow lights that usually crawl across as it is booting up do not appear and the screen just sits there doing nothing. I then turned the machine off. When I turned it back on, I get the screen that asks, do you want safe mode, last good configuration, normal boot, etc. I selected last good configuration and that worked. Why did this happen? Any ideas? I had turned it off at least once during yesterday and it did not happen. Just this morning when I turned it back on. -- eclecticats@verizon.net |
