Vista - side bar

hi all i got a problem with my side bar
it desapeared on me and now it wont come back i tryed restarting it from the
side bar options but it wont come on......
does anyone know how to get it back on my desktop?????

Go Start /Control Panel and find Windows Side Bar Properties and put a tick
in the box

the box is tick but nothing showing...it's like it's been deleted but i can
go to it's properties but it wont show up

Is the sidebar icon in the taskbar notification area (right corner)?

If yes, do you have more that one monitor? If you do make sure that the
right monitor is chosen.

In the properties window click on View list of running gadgets under
maintenance, anything there? If so try removing one at a time and see what
happens.
