where did word go when i upgraded to vista. I can't find it

did u do an upgrade or did it do a clean install and place ur old windows in
a windows.old directory.

Microsoft Word has never been a part of any operating system.
If Microsoft Word was there before you upgraded, it should still be
there.
Look under Start/All Programs/Microsoft
You may need to reinstall Word using the original media.

Word isn't part of Vista. If you purchased it and had it running in XP
or some other version of Windows and you upgraded to Vista and didn't
do a clean install it should still be there. Click Start, type in
'Word' and in a few seconds a link should appear in the list. Once it
does you can pin it to the start menu. Just right click on the Word
icon.
