Blinking cursor thickness setting not working

Under Control Panel, Ease of Access Center, Make the Computer Easier to
See, there is an option to adjust the thickness of the blinking cursor.
No matter what setting I pick, the cursor remains thin. I haven't found
any similar complaints online. I have a Toshiba laptop with Vista Home
Premium. Anyone else having trouble with this feature?

Second, does anyone know what "Make the focus rectangle thicker" does?

sigh, no one ever answers my questions about vista. I've asked 3 or 4
questions in the last 2 months. seems everyone is intent are arguing on
this NG rather than helping fellow Vista users.

BTW, the cursor doesnt change size in any application but MS Word.
Thin cursor is present in Excel, wordpad, the browsers, etc.

C'mon people, someone here must know something about the questions I've
posted!!

You are a very PUSHY person!
You are telling people to hurry up, as YOU don't get an answer within 5 hours!

Find the answer yourself!

DUH!! What part of "the last 2 months" didn't you get?? Many of the
posts here are argumentative, rather than helpful. Thanks for helpful
contribution.
