| | Re: Error : 0x80070005 - Access denied , Backup Failed Hi Jill, Thanks for responding quickly , I have checked backup settings , the backup drive is my hard drive ( thats the first thing i checked). I have also opened the recovery partition and ensured there are no backup folders in that partition. There is enough space on my external hdd as i suggested I can send u a screenshot of the error message if you need it. | | Re: Error : 0x80070005 - Access denied , Backup Failed You didn't specifically mention that you deselected the D drive as a source, so I want to ensure that you do this (sorry I wasn't clear earlier). You'll need to run through the Backup wizard again to change your settings and deselect D. Having it specified as a source is the issue. Specifying D as a target is another issue altogether :-) -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Want to learn more about Windows file and storage technologies?
