On the Start Menu tab of the window that pops up, put a check next to "Store and display a list of recently opened programs", under the "Privacy" section. This will turn on the "Number of recent programs to display", when you click on Customize. | | Re: Number of recent programs to display"" Try clicking on some Programs in the Start Menu, in All Programs, like Windows Photo Gallery. Note that items that are pinned to the Start Menu won't show up in the recent list. Too, the list only begins once you have enabled it, and doesn't remember shortcuts previous to that.
