if the cd was only with WORD, then the product key is valid only for WORD
and no other office application like excel or powerpoint. It is a single
package with word and that is what you bought..
now you are trying to add another program from another cd (excel) and you
want it to work?
you cant do that...
you have to either buy excel as a seperate package,
or buy office2007 that has excel...
Perhaps you can upgrade word into office but I am not sure about that
path....
if you dont have money you can always use
openoffice from
www.openoffice.org
that can open and save XLS (excel files)
