| | Keyboard volume controls don't work I recently purchased a Logitech keyboard (the Easycall (Skype) model). It works well apart from one thing. The volume up/down controls don't adjust the main system (speaker) volume levels. Instead they appear to adjust the "Logitech Setpoint Event Manager (UNICODE)" levels - whatever the Hell that is. How can I get these hardware controls to work? Cheers. Bobby |

While in CP look at the Logitec icon to set up. |

| | Re: Keyboard volume controls don't work Start by contacting Logitech. It is their software that must interface with the operating system. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "Bobby" <bobby@europe.com> wrote in message news:OK$uFmc0HHA.3788@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >I recently purchased a Logitech keyboard (the Easycall (Skype) model). I have a Creative Multimedia keyboard and every keyboard function works perfectly in Vista without installing the Creative drivers. It has buttons for Word and Excel but I don't have either of those apps installed so don't know if they work or not. |

| | Re: Keyboard volume controls don't work Thanks for all of the suggestions. I found a cure (on a Logitech forum). Make the file (setpoint.exe) run in XP compatibility mode - and all of the keys are perfect!
