Favorites in "Computer"

In Windows XP, Explorer and My Computer were highly integrated. In Vista, My
Computer, which is now just called "Computer," is more separate from
Explorer.

It used to be possible to have one list of Favorites for both. Explorer
could open folders on My Computer. Now, trying to open a folder in Explorer
causes Explorer to freeze up. And there doesn't seem to be any way to have
Favorites in Computer.

Question: Can I select particular folders within Computer as Favorites?
When looking for folders on Computer, I often want to get back to the same
folder again and again. Is there a way to make it a Favorite and get to it
easily?

Thanks

Hi Jon,

Yes. All you need to do is to drag a folder into the "Favorite Links", at the left inside the Navigation Pane, to create a shortcut for it. It will now be there for easy access. Just right click and click "Remove Link" to delete it.
