| | Vista cannot see volumes on my firewire drive I have a new Vista install and I want to access files on a IDE drive in an external IEEE 1394 Icy Box caddy. Vista recognises the drive in device manager but no drive appears in Computer. When I rescan the drive from device manager I get an error message saying the volume information cannot be read. If I plug the caddy into my XP laptop, the drives load and I can access the files fine. I have loaded the drivers supplied with my motherboard. The IEEE 1394 interface sees my DV camcorder. Any ideas? Thanks |
