Any one know how to clear or reset resent searches???

Unless you specifically save it, there's no memory of searches within
Windows Search afaik.

If you're referring to searching within another program / toolbar, then
you'll need to mention which one.

That is not correct. Searches can be saved in Vista. Open Explorer,
do a search, then click the Save Search button. The search is saved
as a folder title which shows up the user's Searches folder.
