| Guest | UAC and the Internet Anyone else having this problem when UAC is active the internet browsing is very very slow? When you de-activate the UAC the internet browsing is normal using IE7 w/all patches and hot fixes. -- Bob Eyster MS Windows Vista Home Premium |

| Guest | Re: UAC and the Internet I suspect you have a BHO or other program interfering with your browsing. Try this, turn UAC ON - Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE without Add-ins. If that works well then you have a BHO or other program running that causes the issue. Check in Window's Defender - BHO and Processes. A bit slower since UAC provides behind the scenes checking when UAC is enabled BUT it shouldn't be that much slower that you really notice. So the question becomes HOW much slower is it? |

| Guest | Re: UAC and the Internet I checked in Defender and I have no BHO and Processes option. I did check IE7's Add-ons and disable a couple and things did speed up a little. I'll keep looking Thanks -- Bob Eyster MS Windows Vista Home Premium "Spirit" <noone@notthere.net> wrote in message news:%237xbfe30HHA.600@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... >I suspect you have a BHO or other program interfering with your > browsing.
