Vista - certain websites not coming up???

I was able to get to a few websites for along time ,but recently a few of
them wich work on other peoples computers and at work dont seem to want to
connect ,I have no connection problem all of the bookmarks i have are fine
but when i try to access the weathernetwork.com or Howardstern.com .These
dont work anymore ,could there be a setting in explorer 7 in vista that
might try to prevent certain sites from connecting me or is explorer just
acting buggy
oh yah i tried firefox and it aswell wont connect .I have cleared cache
files but nothing seems to work.

Hi,

Try flushing the resolver cache. Close all running programs, especially
Internet Explorer and any other program that utilizes an internet
connection. Click start and type CMD. Right click the entry in the start
menu and use 'run as administrator'. From the prompt, type "ipconfig
/flushdns" (without the quotes) and hit <enter>. You should get a message
about it successfully clearing the resolver cache. Close the command window
(click the 'x' or type "exit"). Now retry the sites.
