CARMAN HERE. NEEDS HELP. THANKS

Going back to Windows XP Home

OK. I had enough of Vista also. I want to go back to XP. I see that I can do
a clean install to put XP back into my system. But what about all my music,
data, programs etc. I can't save them on my external HD because it only
works with Windows XP and not vista. No driver. Am I stuck or is there a good
and easy suggestion that someone can come up with. I do have 2 hard drives so
maybe put everything on one drive and install XP on the other? Please help.
I've had enough of Vista. I was using Vista home premium and I want to go
back to Windows XP home SP2. Thanks for your help and sugg. Try not to make
to difficult for me, I'm not the best at this sort of thing.

You could install XP on one of your free drives and then put the Hasta
la Vista, Baby drive in as a slave and then move all your stuff to the
drive with XP.

I trust you know how to change jumpers on a hard drive to change them
from Master to Slave and back.

Sorry but I don't see your email address at all. Email me with yours to
carmanhere@yahoo.com. Do I really need to switch jumpers?

External drives generally don't need drivers if they are USB 1.1 or 2.0
compliant. I think Firewire is also supported by Vista. What interface
does your external HD use?

You shouldn't need a driver. What kind of external drive is this?

How about just burning your data to DVDs ? Might take a few depending on
how much data you've got.
