Re: Register Cleaner.

Registry cleaners can be good, but if you choose to use one, do so
carefully and make sure to use whatever restore feature is native to
the tool.

Generally you should not delete a key unless you can positively
recognize it as unnecessary.
Damage caused by improperly using a cleaner may be easily seen and
fixed immediately or remain unseen until a you attempt to perform some
action at a later date.
Do not simply delete whatever the cleaner suggests.
If you have concerns or problems contact a local tech.
Most of the techs I know understand the registry or know someone who
does.

In your case, it MAY be easier as your issues are with HP.
HP should be able to tell you what keys to delete or at least what to
look for.

Remember HP like may others are concerned about the functionality of
their product.
It is of no consequence to them if you damage other functionality as
long as their product does what it needs.

One trait all fanboys have: They lie. The last time the topic came up,
I documented reasons why using Registry Cleaners make sense. All
fanboys ever do in pontificate. Saying do this... without every giving
reasons why, other than they said so. Then when called on they whine.

Again the "I don't have that problem, ergo, there must not be a
problem" response. Classic ignorance, but heck that level of
intelligence is on display here daily.

All insecure as*holes like adam do is lying. He's an accomplished liar
but for reasons other than alias lies.
adam didn't retire at 40, he was fired at 40. Proly cause of his stupid
condescending personality & drinking. He hated his bosses and they
couldn't stand his ignorant ass. He proly also drank on the job or else
came to work drunk/hung over.
So he's been unemployed or (unemployable) for the last 20 yrs.
He has a real personality problem. Most people avoid direct
confrontation with him because he is a complaining diatriber and all
they want to do is shut him up!
hehehe...nothings changed in the 20 yrs has it georgie-boy!
Still a fukkin loser.

Another reason you ARE a Putz is you can't even make up your own
insults. Every time I use a new one, a day or two later you copycat.

Here's a new one, Frank is just a ignoramus. So tell us Frank, will
you start using it tonight already or will you wait till tomorrow?

Calling your bluff again Frankie boy, all you got to do is document
just a single post where I've lied and repost it here. I challenged
you and other fanboys before but you always do the same thing, tuck
your tail between you legs and run away as fast as you can.

Damn Frankie, why did you stop taking your meds? You know it makes you
more paranoid than usual.

>So he's been unemployed or (unemployable) for the last 20 yrs.

When I retired I just goofed around for a year. Got bored, started a
business just to keep busy, more of a hobby. Damn, if it wasn't
successful, so I sold it and started another business video related
and that is a success too. Jealous Frank?

Re: Register Cleaner.

As far as I have ever seen, a registry cleaner is for someone either too
stupid or lazy to maintain their machine properly.
A few orphaned entires are not going to break anything.
I have used the Symantec tool to remove entries after uninstalling their
product, but never a generic regcleaner.
