i've registered myself as linux user 4 years ago and i got a very high
number.

recently i've got access to estatistics about the systems the use google
blogs, and i can tell you, even i don't know about all internet users, just
the ones that read blogs sited on google computers, that there are more
linux users than vista and win2k users:

winxp 53.79%
Linux 37.89%
Windows Vista 2.86%
Windows 2000 2.15%
Mac OS X 1.61%
Windows 98 1.08%
Other/Unknown 0.30%
OS/2 0.11%
FreeBSD 0.05%

One question. What is a "mouth card" . Is that a Ubuntu add on? What
about putting words? Does that have something to do with golf?

That was last year. Ubuntu has made great strides since the POS called
Hasta la Vista, Baby came out and Ubuntu became sooooooooooo user friendly.

With the exception of gaming, Ubuntu is a better and a more real OS than
ANY flavor of Windows.

Yaknow, there was this car manufacturer called Ford that used to be
number one. After some years, GM became number one and Ford number two.
Now Toyota is number one. Why? Toyota makes better cars, although it
took some time for the product loyal American public to wise up. This
analogy applies to Wintards like you and Frank in spades.

Now Bill did I say that, not of course not and you should not put words in
my mouth as the saying goes. No I have lived here 42 years and know quite a
few people but not 60,000.

But I teach computer use and have been in touch with most of then that way.
Also we have a Linux users group here in my county and so i Know the one's
in town who do have it. Now of course you are going to say that all of them
may not join the group, right again but then Neighborhood watch send out
emails and I organize that and guess what, we ask what system they run.
Shall I go on, no I will bore you but yes I can easily glean the coverage.
