John - Taking a second look at CCleaner I can see it is a more useful device.
It allows deleting all at once only what you select. Thanks for that. Wayne

Wayne, you also have the opportunity of running CCleaner at start up. This
will then erase anything you did the night before, prior, to your desktop
appearing, so no one sees your list of web visits unless, as you say, you
delve somewhat deeper into the registry.

You might also check, under CCleaners Options, that 'secure deletion' is set
to normal. This allows one pass to delete the file(s). If it is set to
'secure' then, depending upon the setting, it could make up to 7 passes
during the deletion process.

I too have noticed that it can be 'slow' at times, but I suppose that would
depend upon how many files are in he temporary internet file folder and
other folders that it accesses. The fastest I have encountered is around 4.5
seconds and the longest 190 seconds.
