LOL! How does "fairness" enter into one's decision to killfile a
poster?? A killfile is used at the sole discretion of the individual
and is for their private "enjoyment". Fairness? I don't think any of
us needs to explain or justify if or why we have killfiled anyone
here. sigh. In fact, generally, it's presumed to be rude to publicly
identify the "plonkees", and I'll be the first to admit that from time
to time, I've been guilty of make a plonk announcement. I do try to
avoid doing that, as I know it borders on childishness, but I'm not
always a perfect gentleman.

You don't need to block everyone. Whenever Alias talks about Ubuntu, tell
him to go away.

Re: MVP's Can't you STOP the spammers?

Sorry if I mislead you but I didn't mean block by killfiling someone but to
block someone to access to this newsgroup as the original posted suggested.

No worries, I am not always a civil person in the real world and I know some
people can only be a tough guy/gal on the net. I have no problem for using
physical violence in the real life if it's necessary, such as stopping jerks
from making fun of disadvantaged.

Having some need to announce you "plonked" someone is the ultimate
sign of surrender confirming the plonked has absolutely no will power
or control over is own impulses and needs help to avoid responding to
someone that usually gets the best of him.

Adults simply skip over posters or threads they know will upset them
if they respond. Childishness doesn't even come close. Of course there
are special cases like little Frankie numbnuts that seems to enjoy
having his butt kicked by everyone. That a sure sign of mental
illness. <snicker>
