Re: How to run VPC on Vista Home Premium

The Home Editions are not supported.
( If it runs is good, but if it doesn't then don't complain - that is my
definition of "unsupported" )

Have a look in the system requirements page at MSFT : these OS are supported
as Host :

Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition (32-bit x86); Windows Server 2003,
Standard x64 Edition; Windows Vista Business; Windows Vista Business 64-bit
edition; Windows Vista Enterprise; Windows Vista Enterprise 64-bit edition;
Windows Vista Ultimate; Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition; Windows XP
Professional Edition ; Windows XP Professional x64 Edition ; Windows XP
Tablet PC Edition

Re: How to run VPC on Vista Home Premium

Usually double-clicking the icon in the System Tray will return the console
to its normal display. If not, try right-clicking the icon in the System
Tray, the pop-up menu will let you access all the normal functions of
Virtual PC.

If neither of these helps, visit one of the Virtual PC forums for more
help - there's no reason it won't run on any version of Vista. It's
unsupported but it WILL work.
