DVD Maker stops working

When I click next after I add video files to the list and get to the part
where I choose the menu style etc, DVD maker stops working and it checks for
a solution. And then it just says that DVD Maker stopped working and that it
would notify me if there is solution. Can anybody help???

RE: DVD Maker stops working

I have the same problem and posted the question a week ago and no response.
You may want to indicate what type of files you are trying to burn (are they
avi files or something else) in case that matters. Seems like this shouldn't
happen. Also, if you are inside the tech support timeframe, contact them for
help (and if you get an answer please let me know what it is).

Re: DVD Maker stops working

Open up Event Viewer and look at the event that Says "error"
It should look like this:

Faulting application DVDMaker.exe, version 2.0.0.0, time stamp 0x46951387, faulting module XvidCore.dll, version 6.5.0.6, time stamp 0x46951387, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0000e018, process id 0x1240, application start time 0x01c7d721b5ffc6ad.

I upgraded my Xvid and this solved the problem. Look and see which faulting module is listed and replace it.

Cheers

Re: DVD Maker stops working

Have you sent that in? Does the Problem Reports and Solutions center have a
bucket ID for that fault? I don't see that crash data.

According to WMP's Help:About:Technical Support Information, what MPEG
codecs are on the system?
