| Guest | UAC preventing Java turned onApplets to run Can anyone from MS tell me why java applets in IE7 will not run with User Account Control turned on? I am using Vista Home Premium and the latest version of java. All windows updates have been performed. 1 week ago I could run these applets fine with UAC on. And I've really made no changes to my computer other than updates to Spyware Doctor and Windows Updates. I disabled Spyware Dr and java still will not work until I disable UAC. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. |

You can learn a lot by just putting UAC in the search box of Help and Support but I find running with it on and just right clicking the program icon and selecting Run As Admin the simplest way so far. Your Spy Doc and Java not the problem by the way. -- Ian With patience there is always a way. Please Reply to Newsgroup so all can read.
