Vista Tutorial - windows explorer keeps restarting

Hi,

i'm running windows vista ultimate. when i power on my pc its makes all the
starup process and keeps restarting windows explorer and freeze all the
other applications. what can i do if the systems wont let me do anything?

Sounds a bit of a mess.

System restore point if you have one, or consider a reinstall if not.

you would appear to have downloaded an incompatible program you will need
to restore to a time you know it worked .it is possible to restore from
bootup but you will need to disable your antivirus this also is possible from
bootup but differs with the manufacturers i have nortons instructions if
needed hope this helps because this has happened to me aswell
