| Guest | DVDRW no longer works under VIsta Hello, I've recently installed VISTA. Since this upgrade I noticed that I'm unable to write CD's or DVD's with Windows Explorer or ripping audio CD's in WMP 11. I always get an error message in the rip-status of WMP 11. I'm also unable to play these CD's. This is a geniune Vista problem because it is not occurring in other programs such as Ashampoo burning Rom or WinAmp. I've already tried the KB929461 but in my case there weren't any upper or lower filters to remove. In Devicemanager there is no sign of malfunctioning and the newest firmware is installed in the drive's chip. The company who made the drive PIONEER DVDRW DVR-106D blames the retailer MEDION while they blame them. Can anybody help me out, please? Kind regards |
