| Guest | Audio Levels I am using Vista Home Premium with Soundmax on board audio (Asus A8R-MVP motherboard) and also a Soundblaster Live 24 card. I use the on board audio to record from my stereo, LP's & Cassettes to MP3. If the level is set to 100 on line-in the sound comes through very distorted so i have to set the level to about 10. Everything was fine until i noticed all my recordings were distorted. I looked at the levels for the Soundmax Line-In and it was back to 100, so i altered it back to 10 but as i was watching the levels in Vista Sound Settings it moved straight to 100. If i set it to 10 say ok and confirm, give it 5 minutes and it will be back to 100. I can only assume something is taking control of my audio levels but i don't know what? Any help appreciated |
