For your mic: Right click on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of the Taskbar and select Recording Devices. In the Recording Devices window, right click on an empty area, and check both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices". Highlight Microphone and press the Set as Default button. Press the Properties button to set up your mic. Stop WHINING and bitching and you will get a lot further. What is wrong is your judgmental attitude. Why don't you ask for help in yahoo, thru them instead of here. I'm tired of reading dumb questionis, doesn't anyone know how to use search??? Vista is great, and I love it since I got it in April.
