Disabling ClearType

Hello,

Is there a way to completely disable ClearType in Windows Vista Beta 2?
After deselecting ClearType in the appearances dialog panel there are
still several items that use ClearType, such as the task bar.

It seems that MS is going the same way as Mac OS X. After disabling
anti-aliasing a lot of controls still use it causing a lot of
inconsistencies.

Thanks,
Romendo

RE: Disabling ClearType

I have noticed the same thing. I have disabled Cleartype from within IE7 and
also under advanced personalisation option I changed it from ClearType to
Normal but still see clear-type all over the place.
