| | Re: Vista updates coming next week Just completed download and manual install of both items from the links to Microsoft. This on my Athlon 64 3700+ laptop 2GB ram 2GB PowerBoost (Vista Ultimate x64). I can report so far (after limited testing) a slight improvement in boot time (from about 50 to 45 seconds, power off to signon screen). All previous functions seemingly intact after each reboot and no reconfiguration necessary. I realize problems could arise later, but, so far, so good. | | Re: Vista updates coming next week Sorry for the PowerBoost reference, what I meant was ReadyBoost. My ISP is using a feature they call PowerBoost to speed up larger downloads.
