BSOD during shutdown

Hi All,

I recently built a new computer, and installed Vista x64 Ultimate.

The thing is, whenever I shut down windows I get a blue screen of death with the usual generic STOP 0x1E message.

When I debug the crash dump I get the following:

Code:

Mini Kernel Dump File: Only registers and stack trace are available

Symbol search path is: SRV*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols

Probably caused by : srv2.sys ( srv2!SrvDereferenceHandle+4e )

Mobo: Intel DP35DP
RAM: 4x1gb Kingston DDR2-800
Video: Asus 512Mb 8600GT
(Latest Vista x64 drivers installed for all hardware, and bios updated to latest).

Now, it appears to be an issue with srv2.sys, which as far as I can tell is vista's Samba 2.0 file sharing server, but I have no ideas on how to rectify this problem.
