Note however, your deleted items will still go first to the recycle bin unless you first change its settings in its properties to NOT send deleted files to the Recycle Bin. -- Michael Solomon Backup is a PC user's best friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ |

You can just right click the Recycle Bin and click Delete to remove it. If you want to ever bring it back, see this link for how: Desktop Icons Shawn Last edited by Brink; 08-09-2007 at 05:41 PM.. | |||||||||||||||

I had to find a system restore point that fixed the problem. It thus still remains a mystery why the recycle bin suddenly stopped refreshing automatically. Marco |

It sometimes is caused when the Recycle Bin is accidently deleted. However in your case, it could of been some incompatible program that may have caused it. Do you remember if you installed or changed anything right before this happened? With Vista, it could be a number of things that can affect the refreshing. Wish I had a more specific answer for you.
