Spyware blocker?

Looking for a Spyware blocker that is not a resource hog works with Vista.
Doesn't have to be free, just easy on the PC.

Thank you for any and all help.

Re: Spyware blocker?

Windows Defender seems to work well here.... I also use Avast as the
Anti-Virus.

Re: Spyware blocker?

I was surprised to see Windows Defender inform me of a spyware program on my
computer before the spyware could even begin installing. I tried to install
some free software thing that of course had spyware in it.

I would recommend Windows Defender even if only it was for the fact that it
is already installed on your computer.
