| Guest | IIS in windows Vista Is there any way to get to some knd of IIS, like at XP and 2000 to test scripts and so on? A Inetpub, localhost...??? Does Vista Home Edition have some resource like that? |

Open the Programs option by clicking Start | Control Panel | Programs. 2.. Under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off. 3.. Click Internet Information Services. 4.. Click OK. When the "Windows Features" dialogue box appears, check the options under "Internet Information Services". Click OK. And you're in business. If you are using tools like SQL Server Reporting Services, they may expect the IIS 6 Compatibility options to be included. Also note that Vista Home edition does not support Windows Authentication.
