You can stop programs/processes using the Task Manager. Simply pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del/Esc has never immediately shut down a running program. As Mark told you, use Alt+F4. | | Re: Ctrl,alt,delete Hi Jimbo - You should be aware that there are some naughty webpages that nothing can close but the main off button. The computer freezes. Alt/F4 is of no use. Of course that never happened to me! If one does not have quick access to the off button or the wall plug, one should be careful.
