Re: Favorites folder

Swalker

The folder is located in your user folders. Go to C:\Users\your
username\Favorites.

Re: Favorites folder

Click Start, type "shell:favorites" and press {ENTER}

The "Favorites" folder would open where ever it is located.

Thanks, Vista sort of reminds me of when I worked in the corporate
world and traveled all week. Sometimes I would come home and find that
my wife had moved all the furniture and I couldn't find anything.

Re: Favorites folder

Everyone makes it sound so hard, just open the start menu and click on your
name, this opens your user folder, and your Favorites folder is right there.

copying/downloading music

I want to play a cd while I do other things, like check email and visit websites.

Also, can I download music while doing those things? I want it to go where the music that came with my computer is.

Assuming that's a default, can anyone tell me how to get there as well? I have windows vista

Obviously I'm new at this.

Last, where do I find my answers? Can they go to my email address? That I know howto do.

Re: Favorites folder

Easy way to find favorites, use IE to go to the web. Click on the star in the upper left hand corner

As long as you have enough RAM it will be no problem. I have done both. When
copying a CD or downloading music I can do something else, does not cause
any problem. As for where the music goes, with mine they get saved in my
music. You can then move the files anyplace you wish.
