Vista - Error while connecting to Internet

Hi,

I newly got a Hp Compac laptop with windows Vista in it. I got a BSNL broad
band connection with Ethernet modem (UT300R3U with ADSL2 + Modem). I
configured the router and whne i try to connect to internet it gives me an
error : 815 Remote server is not reponding . This could be caused by invalid
value for service name field. I am not sure how to fix this issue.. Cna
anybody help me on this ..?

Read your query. I am also facing similar problem. I have vista, BSNL broadband connection, and Siemens C2110 ADSL modem.

How did you fixed error 815

It's everywhere

I used to have this error on my vista ultimate(error815:lol)
what i did waz just changed the network card and reseted all internet settings (DO NOT 4GET to retipe the ip adress) it's been about a day that i've changed it and its still workink really good but still am working on a solution for this CURSED NUMBER so give it a try an tell me what happens
P.S:the network card must be (vista compatible)
